Great picture! It is very sweet. If I could get my girls to do that it'd be great.
The meds just have to get my body regulated. For a few days I'm wired and anxious, then I'm exhausted for a day or two. It is very weird and very normal. This is week 3 of the meds and it could take up to 6 weeks to get regulated.
They know when they have it good. So, why mess up and not get along with your pastermates! Good picture,BUT, which one is the beauty and which the beast???
We kept horses and mules separated for about two weeks, when turned together they got along fine. Wrangler and Pistol are fun playmates. Di, sure, you are welcome to take Wrangler out on the trails! David, all the snow is at your house. AWWWW, you all were so sweet to ask which was the beast. Debbie, you are a sweetie! Courtney, my girls didn't play as well togther as the critters either. Yes Jenn, bigger brains, they are always trying to outwit the humans.
As veterinarian and horsewoman, I enjoy life in the Foothills of Northern California. I 'owned' my first horse at the tender age of eight and have had assorted horses since. Currently, I share my space with four horses and two mules, ranging in age from two years to twenty-plus.
I partner with my husband Jerry, an accomplished horseman and mule packer.

Happily dirty ponies! What a great shot. It always amazes me how HUGE mule heads are compared to horse heads. They definitely have bigger brains!

"Hi" to everyone.
Great picture. But where is the SNOW. You had some at the last place you lived.
I'm blinking back tears. I'm a softy for romance ANYWHERE I come across it. Sweet.
