I copied these pictures from yesterday's email. My brother in Michigan misses us and wishes we were there. I packed up and headed West almost 10 years ago. I am not a grey sky, slushy snow kind of person.
More Michigan pictures, compliments of bro. I miss you too; our family get-togethers, the pranks and jokes, road trips, but....
These pictures were also taken on Jan. 31st.
See the blue skies and green grass?
The cowboy and ranchkid spent the day planting redwood trees.
See the green grass and blue skies?
January 31st, dafodils in full bloom.
Sorry David, I just couldn't resist.
I miss you too and wish you were here!
Your big sis.

Your bad, you treat your brother like I do mine and he calls me Sis too. We are having some gorgeous weather this weekend too and Pa planted 3 white dogwood trees..
All I'm going to say is....Shut up!!!
Its always GREENER on the other side.
Born and raised in California, I can't see what all the fuss is about . . . hee hee hee.
I am wistfully enchanted when our snowfalls arrive. I smile brightly as we "vacation" for a few days in the splendor, and sigh contentedly when it fades in a day or two.
California Girl, through and through. ; )
i took some pics of a snowy "BLUE" sky day (in MI) to email to you soon as i get some time to put the pics on the 'puter. :D
I'm going to blame this post as the reason we have a few inches of snow rather than the springlike weather shown in the pictures Mom posted here.
Actually, I LOVE LOVE LOVE snow (just not the seemingly eternal grey skies of Mich), so I was thrilled to wake up to a beautiful snowy day, with fresh snow piled on the branches and huge flakes drifting down. It's pretty, I wish I could hijack Mom's blog and post a picture! Maybe she'll post one or two when she gets home :)
And thank goodness for the wood stove...our power's out! (Thank goodness for fully charged laptop batteries, too...)
