Yes,a bulldog c-section. One reason 'bullies' are so expensive, they often need 'help' conceiving and then delivering. As the photos show, there were plenty of eager to help hands and another was performing the surgery, so I grabbed my camera and joined in.
As veterinarian and horsewoman, I enjoy life in the Foothills of Northern California. I 'owned' my first horse at the tender age of eight and have had assorted horses since. Currently, I share my space with four horses and two mules, ranging in age from two years to twenty-plus.
I partner with my husband Jerry, an accomplished horseman and mule packer.

Just another day at work. always like watching you work. Or help when I could. I miss it.
They need help conceiving--as in AI? I didn't know that...
