Goofing Off

We have White Lilacs!

We have dark Purple Lilacs!

I am a
Daffodil

What Flower
Are You?

"You have a sunny disposition and are normally one of the first to show up for the party. You don't need too much attention from the host once you get there as you are more than capable of making yourself seen and heard."

I found this cute flower quiz through Lynn's blog today. I am not sure about the 'sunny disposition' though. And that last part sounds obnoxious. I do like daffodils and we have lots growing here at the Log House. I have no idea how to link you to that gardening blog so you can take the quiz. I think you just click on 'What Flower Are You'.

My Mom is a gardening wonder, I wish she lived closer to help me identify what we have growing here, and to help plant new flowers.

I have the day off. I slept in. I had a bowl of Mocha IceCream for breakfast. I played 'chase around the house' with Cort. My pictures on my computer are now up to date and in titled files or folders. I have been playing on the computer, reading some of my favorite blogs and looking up silly things. Now I am going to go out and play a bit. I don't plan on doing ANY tractor work or physical labor today. I should be organizing my office and working on taxes...... maybe later....

I plan on posting two blog entries today. I want to share some of the work we've been doing.

Oh yeah, Jerry is out of town for a few days.

sounds like a good day off to me. Everybody needs a rest. Why not post some of your mystery flowers as pictures on your post and we can take a crack at identifying them?

Very cute!
I like your idea of posting pictures of my unidentified flowers. Will I ever be humiliated if they turn out to be weeds though!

Hey! I came up a Daffodil too! I am taking a little break from cleaning and just enjoyed a wonderful lunch of coconut icing on a grahm cracker and Dr. Pepper. And that is why I am a big bottom girl.

I'm a Snapdragon too. It sure does fit. Glad to hear that you do get some down time in. Don't take to much time off around the place, I want to relax when I come out. I don't know how many years you have, but I will be there. DAVID

I wish I were in CA. warm and all those beautiful flowers you have. We have zilch. I can even smell your Lilacs I love lilacs. We have none here. I do steal some from yard nextdoor. No one lives there, so I take few of them. Should go dig up starters and plant in my yard.
Take care,, xo

It would be fun to read what traits the other flowers described.
Mom, you don't steal them, you share them.

David, Man am I saving a great project for your visit.

Di, more flowers coming up, we don't see the deer as often with the horses, dog and fences in the way. But this is a very rural wooded area so the deer have large areas to roam.

Coffee Bean- all I can say is YUM!

I'm a daffodil, too!

I love your lilacs and I can almost smell them. Mine are still itty bitty plants, only a 2 years old this spring, so I don't think I'll be getting any flowers quite yet.
