SKI 2008

I skiied today. It was sunny and warm, with lovely snow.

I enjoyed the peaceful stillness and winter quiet of the mountain forests.

How perfect this is.

A glimpse of Lake Tahoe from the mountain top.
I am south west of the lake, so the furthest mountains across the lake are in Nevada.
The left side of the photo is the north.
I feel refreshed and blessed to have had this day to enjoy.
Wish you were here.

Thanks for visiting my blog Kathy - beautiful photos. It's been MANY years since I put on any skis. Be careful.

I can almost feel that peaceful, quiet perfection in my bones just by looking at the picture. What a lucky woman you are. I hope you weren't too sore the next day!

Beautiful, peaceful pictures. I could sit, in one of your picture taking Mt spots and spend whole day, just looking around, so beautiful.
I am glad you got to go and put in a great day of skiing. Hope your leg held up for you and your body not aching to bad. You did go home and take a nice long soak in hot tub?
Jerry see the pictures and bet he wishes he had gone with you!

Oh how lovely! I love all of your pictures! Gosh... I wanna come live with you!

My Dad lives in Grass Valley, CA and works in Reno. They are not terribly far from Lake Tahoe. It is so beautiful there!
